Wabasha, Minnesota

Our Friday Field Trip last week took us to Wabasha, Minnesota about 85 miles south of the Twin Cities.  The National Eagle Center has a lovely museum in this small town on the banks of the Mississippi River.  The bridge above connects Wabasha with towns  across the river in Wisconsin.

  1. There are some beautiful little towns along the Mississippi! Also, in southern Minnesota, such as Lanesboro. We used to ride there frequently during the summer months when we came up to visit. That trail now goes for about 70 miles, I think. Love this bridge and your photos are superb!

  3. The Mississippi reminds me of the Swan River Kate, very wide and fast flowing.

  4. I like the name Wabasha, an Indian name? Lovely bridge.
