Theme Day: October 2020-My Response to Covid-19

In order to keep recommended safe distance and to encourage neighbors to stop and visit while taking their daily walks, I brought a bench to the front entrance of  our home, I could sit on our front steps while chatting. Our daughter and granddaughter were the first visitors to test the idea. They are wearing masks because DH Jim is convalescing from a serious  medical emergency, which is a challenge during pandemic. The bench has been declared a success!

NESTING

I need to mine my archives since I have not been on a photo shoot for months, but will be able to do that soon! (PS I cannot figure out how to change the color of the text---anyone?)

MY NEIGHBORHOOD-GUEST PHOTOGRAPHER

I am still trying to figure out blogger's new format since I last posted regularly, which is frustrating so please bear with me. This scene is far too common in recent years.  Unfortunately we have encroached on wildlife territory so we see deer and lots of coyotes in our urban neighborhood. Look closely and you will see me standing by the silver car in the background, gawking with the rest of the neighbors while hoping that this little one will make it safely home probably a few block away by the Mississippi River.

VISUAL ST PAUL

It has been so long since my last post that I am not sure how to do this anymore! The homeowner on the corner of a busy street close to my home always displays this enormous pot of beautiful geraniums every year. It is a beacon of beauty that I always anticipate with pleasure!
