I founds this wonderful unnamed sculpture outside the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, Minnesota, a museum we visited on our last Friday Field Trip. I could find no plaque identifying the artist or information about the piece of art. I loved the way it rose above the walking path, seemingly ready for flight.

Unnamed sculpture

I hope the artist was intending to be humorous; I laughed out loud. Looks like a gawky, squawky heron of some kind!
ReplyDeleteIt's an eye catching sculpture!
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful! Great pic!
ReplyDeleteThat's a skinny eagle!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what it is either, but it is pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteOh my. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love that sculpture!
ReplyDeleteAside from the talons it doesn't look like any eagle I've ever seen. But I do like the motion of the wings. It's an interesting sculpture.
