Art in Bloom, 2016-#2

One of  the more whimsical contributions to the Art in Bloom display at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.  See yesterday's post for further explanation.


The artwork is entitled, Soundsuit by Nick Cave, 2010.  Metal, wood, plastic, pigments, and acrylic fabric.

  4. I find this one very interesting because I met Nick Cave a few years ago. He had a show at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and I got to meet him. I really enjoyed seeing the collection of wild and crazy "sound suits" he created for the show.
