We'll take ALL the credit, kids!
Update on vertigo: 7TH DAY which is now manageable; I'm past the slap to the ground whirling imbalance with just brief periods of dizziness. For those of you who inquired, I have been seeing a neurologist and now also a physical therapist. If that doesn't help, off to a Dizzy and Balance Clinic (no kidding, there is such a thing!!) Love, Dizzy Lizzy
oh, you're so cute! so glad things are improving!
ReplyDeleteOh Kate I hope you get relief soon.
ReplyDeleteI've had that too but not as bad as you. No fun!
This world is dizzy enough without having your own personal Merry Go Round going on.
A good portrait shot!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad things are calming down in re: vertigo... it's definitely NO fun. Hope they're able to get it cleared up or controlled in the very near future.
ReplyDeleteHey! There you are! Be careful, Kate. Anything that contributes to slips and falls can be quite serious. Good luck with the docs.
ReplyDeletenice photo and i am so sorry you are experiencing this...hope you get relief soon! hugs!

ReplyDeleteThis could be Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), which should be picked up readily by the Balance Clinic. There is a range of head manoeuvres clinicians employ to move the CaCO3 crystals out of the semicircular canal of the inner ear where they have accidently lodged.
Glad you are feeling well!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear you're not 100% Kate. I've had very short spells of vertigo and it was very unnerving, can't imagine how it must have been for you over such a long periods. You take care Dizzy Lizzy :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling a tad better. Hope you won't have to go to the Dizzy and Balance Clinic, but hey! If you do it might make an interesting post. ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling a tad better! Take it easy.
ReplyDeleteVertigo is such a hard thing to deal with. I have had it myself before. I like the picture!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it's at a manageable stage. I experienced that feeling just once about two years ago and it only lasted for a few seconds but, I remember having to grab the edge of the table I was sitting at. Since it only happened that one time, I never mentioned to anyone but for those few seconds it was very scary. Love the photo!
ReplyDeleteOh, my! Dizzy and Balance Clinic! That's a new one for me and it evokes memories of a cross between I Love Lucy and childhood cartoons. I know it's no fun. I do hope they all help. PT has helped me (and DH, too) a great deal with balance issues.
