Two Sailors

Happy Valentine's Day!

While walking on the beach in the distance I saw what looked like a hammock attached to a pier. Than I saw some movement, not knowing whether it contained one or two bodies, I bravely moved toward it while DH hurriedly walked in the opposite direction.  I met two young people who are in the Navy, based within 30 minutes from here.  John from Indiana and Alex from San Francisco were on a short leave and enjoying the ocean in a slightly different way than while on the base.  When I asked John if it was okay to pitch the hammock there on the beach, he laughed and said, "I didn't ask!"Alex really misses San Francisco, but I think that she has someone here to console her.
