A drawbridge is a friendly bridge. Accomodates tall boats, autos and pedestrians. But best of all this one allows Kate a passage to the Medley Cafe in the mornings!
Reminds me a wee little bit of the bridge in Duluth, over which we went when coming home from our honeymoon. I'll bet your cafe did not exist way back then!
The bridge looks well built. It will be there for a long time.
ReplyDeleteI would have to keep driving over it till I got to see it raise up.
ReplyDeleteI find that a routine trip to a coffe shop....helps make a place feel like home.

ReplyDeleteA nice view from the windshield.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy these windshield shots. That is quite a bridge and the big DRAW for me is the coffee on the other side.

ReplyDeleteWhat a structure! Love your photo.
ReplyDeleteCharming. . .as long as it's not up when you arrive, desperate for your morning cuppa!
ReplyDeleteIt looks a little bit like the drawbridge in Mystic, Connecticut. Mystic Pizza used to be on the other side, but it closed.
ReplyDeleteThat's a big one!
ReplyDeletei like the flag at the top. :)
ReplyDeleteI like all the lines and angles...as well as a good cup of coffee.
