Pitt Street Bridge no longer exists. The area is known as Pitt Bridge Park, which has a long walkway with plenty of benches where one can sit to watch the strollers and to view the magnificent sunsets.
Parker, I think that kayaks are the boat of choice here; I've seen many in yards and on trailers, but no canoes. I'd take either one and go for a float!
I love the colours and I also like the contrast of the spiky grass and smooth water here. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI would enjoy bird watching there.
ReplyDeleteWater pathways winding through the coastal grasses. A canoe would make a perfect addition!

ReplyDeleteI wonder if this area attracts many birds. Looks like you're getting to know your new temporary surroundings.
ReplyDeleteMy reply function doesn't seem to be working today. I don't know about bird watching but when I find out, I'll let you know.
ReplyDeleteThere is a winter look to that top photo!
ReplyDeleteLooks like some places in north Florida. Like Cedar Key in the winter.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty there!
ReplyDeleteLovely spot! It looks like you're adjusting nicely to being outdoors again. It must be a wonderful change from piles of snow.
ReplyDeleteThe place looks inviting for long walks!
ReplyDeleteYes I can just imagine how nice it would be to watch a sunset here Kate.
