Despite the cold weather, construction continues on the retirement community in our neighborhood. The way buildings are put up now is a far-cry from the construction sites I used to see years ago. I wonder how long it will be before it's finished?
Sharon, my husband is in contstruction and they don't get to very often. They wear lots of layers. Not sure how it is other places though. But on the plus side they get to be outside and not stuck in an office all day.
Great capture on top, Kate! By the way, I watched a video of a 15 floor hotel in China that was built in 6 days! Can you believe it? I posted it on Facebook :-)
Great pictures in your series. I love to see construction, especially how other countries do it.
ReplyDeleteSo the windows are already in that suspended wall?!
Sometime not too long from now someone will be looking out that window, snug in their new home, appreciating the view.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how often those workmen get to warm up.

ReplyDeleteIt's going to be huge. You must show what it looks like when it's all done. I wonder how much the rent will be.
ReplyDeleteTheir probably not in a hurry if there is not other jobs at the end of this one. Nice capture.
ReplyDeleteThese days I am grateful to see anyone working. It has been a tough time for people working in construction.
