Cecil's Delicatessen is one of the best delis in the Twin Cities. Maybe the best! Nick, who grew up in the Highland area, has worked in the store for five years. A graduate of Nativity grade school and Cretin-Derham High School he probably knows many of the regular customers.
un beau metier et un portrait sympa
ReplyDeleteCretin-Derham? CRETIN? They must be joking, Kate. I know it's named after Joseph Crétin, but REALLY!
ReplyDeleteAnd now he knows you!
ReplyDeleteHeck with the name! I'll take a warm loaf of that bread. Ah...
ReplyDeleteOh, I don't know. I think it would be kinda fun to chant "Go Cretins!"
ReplyDeleteGreat portrait shot!
Anne and I used to walk down from Wellesley Ave thru St. Kate's campus for Rueben sandwiches at Cecil's - we're long overdue for a visit there!
ReplyDeleteAh, what a sweet portrait.
ReplyDeleteEvery city needs a first class deli!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a good deli. We've got one here in Ocala that's pretty decent but otherwise have to drive to The Villages where there are several!
ReplyDeleteHi, Nick! Nice to see you.
ReplyDeleteHe seems happy doing his work, Kate.
ReplyDeleteI'll take some Salami!
