Hummm des fraises, des fruits le matin, cela fait du bien...elles sont belles Hummm of the strawberries, fruits in the morning it is good. They are nice
We went to a You-Pic-Em Strawberry farm yesterday. My first experience with picking my own. I'm going to add a strawberry patch to our modest garden next year.
Strawberry shortcake with real whipped cream. I haven't had real whipped cream since I last whipped it during World War 2. And I whipped up some butter or churned it up. Sometimes I wonder how we lost all of that to advertising butter and whipped cream in the dairy case.
These are so lovely! Our strawberry season is ending but the Sparkle and the Darcolet varieties were so good while they were here. (now its on to blueberries, raspberries and apricots).

ReplyDeleteThose do look particularly good. I planted a few plants in my garden last year and now they've taken over. No fruit though - just tons of leaves!
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous and that cute tablecloth is the finishing touch. I'd like to stir in my vanilla yogurt this morning! Great shots Kate!
