I have one tomato left from this summer's crop. I went to the town that has my favorite farmer's produce stand in it last week. He was gone! I was sad! Back to those mealy dry things we get at the grocery!
You caught some of the best of summer, some of the things I miss most. We can get pretty decent peppers during winter (from elsewhere, of course) but tomatoes? Watermelon? Not really. (Go ahead, Jack. Rub it in!!! 8-) )
Looks very fresh and good.

ReplyDeleteOoooohhhh, those all look delicious. Fortunately, I get to head south to Florida to get fresh produce all over again!
ReplyDeleteI like the redness of the tomatoes and peppers.

ReplyDeleteI will miss summer produce, though I must admit the weather shift is a fair trade. :)
