& Saturday's Critters
I was curious about these figures of Street Art, but I decided not to use them for the upcoming September Theme of Curiosities.
Did the Sturgeon General advise against it?
ReplyDeleteSorry... couldn't resist!
Cool collection of sturgeon sculptures. The cork screw one is neat and I love the last shiny mosaic Sturgeon. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteFantastic different types of Sturgeon sculptures. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteFascinating. As you know we have our horses which are sturdy but not sturgeon. I love that first one. Come to think of it, I don't think I ever caught a sturgeon when I lived in the northland. Caught a lot of colds, though! Methinks you're having a great time! Jacqueline's comment is very funny!
ReplyDeleteWho knew sturgeons could be so interesting looking?!
ReplyDeleteAll very interesting but I can't think of a place I'd put one! But like you, my camera would have definitely been drawn to them.
ReplyDeleteThese are just simply fun! I have a friend that has taken wine corks and covered his Isetta with them! Such lovely artwork throughout.
ReplyDeleteVery colourful, and very unusual. The second one suits me nicely.
ReplyDeleteThose are great fun, Kate!
ReplyDeleteVery clever! I like the one made of corks.
ReplyDeleteoh, they are CUTE!! love the wine cork one!
ReplyDeleteI kind of like the one made of wood. Cork one is clever. Someone drank a lot of wine.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThese are rather better looking than the actual fish!
ReplyDeleteYes! The cork sturgeon is marvelous.
ReplyDelete~
Rainbow sturgeons? Actually I like them all.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen a sturgeon sculpture before, let alone five! Very original.
ReplyDeleteCynthia, There are lots more than five; they are all over the streets of Sturgeon Bay right now!
DeleteThey certainly would have worked as "curiosities," Kate.
ReplyDeleteCool fish! I like that they have different shapes.
ReplyDeleteVery cool -- I especially like the second one.
