Our road trip home yesterday started with a bang. After missing our exit I did not yield at an unfamiliar interstate off-ramp from a highway that ended in a very confusing roundabout. A sizable ticket fine with future car repair. Door difficult to open but driveable so soldiered on and got home four hours later. The black car belongs to a sweet old lady who hit me broadside. The two very good-looking FEMALE Green Bay police officers handled the situation beautifully!

Oh, that is bad, much repair but lucky for you to be able to drive on,
ReplyDeleteOh dear, Kate. At least no one was hurt and both cars can be repaired!
ReplyDelete"sweet old lady"...even older than YOU.....?!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're OK. Now, if JIM had been driving.....
i'm so sorry but glad no one was hurt and the car was driveable!
ReplyDeleteYikes....the unexpected turns in our lives. happy everyone is okay.
ReplyDeleteNot nice. Hope everyone is okay. Cars can be fixed.
ReplyDeleteAND you ruined a Saturn.....
ReplyDeleteOuch, but at least it can be repaired!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry this happened, but very glad you weren't hurt.
ReplyDeleteOh no! Glad nobody was hurt, but not the way to come home. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteGoodness me Kate, I hope you are both ok, bit shocked I bet. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry, Kate, but glad no one was hurt!
ReplyDeleteDang! Too bad! Well, the best mantra in cases like this is "no one was hurt." In some area accidents in round-abouts are no fault because they're so darned confusing to non locals.
ReplyDelete(One of the first round-abouts I ever encountered was in Ireland where the road directions are reversed from ours. If you want confusing consider driving into one of those where lanes are the wrong way.)
