Last Sunday got up early to go to Mississippi Blvd to take photos as I watched these Wonder Women fly by! I was pleasantly surprised to see how cheerful most of them seemed. Some passed me by without a glance, but many of them had a smile, a wave, or a cheery hello!

I hope that they all crossed the finish line. I have a daughter that did one, and I was surprised that she found the swimming segment the most difficult.
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful event. I wish we had such a thing here.

I applaud them. Still smiling on a long bike trek. Positive energy.
ReplyDeletethey have more energy than i've ever thought of having!
ReplyDeleteWonder Women is a good name for these ladies.
ReplyDeleteand again, we tackle the same subject !!
ReplyDeleteI would be smiling for the cycling part too. I don't know about the other two parts though.
ReplyDeleteWonder Women indeed!!!
ReplyDeleteSmiling at all the people out there showing their support. Great collection of riders.
ReplyDeleteI guess it was too early for an audience. The Twin City Marathon is always well-attended but it is a much bigger deal and people come from different states and countries; this one is local and the participant and "Just women!" participate.
DeleteAnd all very sensible, they wear crash helmets. Twice I have had my life saved by wearing one. Diane
ReplyDeleteBravo ladies, bravo.
ReplyDeleteI admire people who are strong enough to do this.
ReplyDeleteI could never do that and on top I hate bikes, lol !
ReplyDeleteOh boy that is a hard race. I have seen it here to.
