Cecils, a Highland Park neighborhood institution, has marvelous bread, great deli selections, and a hot pastrami or reuben sandwich "to die for."
Lucky me, only a few short blocks from our house.

Looks like it would be one of my favorite places. I love pastrami and reubens.

Unlucky for me. I'd sneak out and 'visit' this place everyday. I'd put on the lbs for sure.

What exactly is a 'Rueben sandwich' Kate? There aren't enough really good deli's left in the world :(
ReplyDeleteThere are some variations on a Reuben but basically it's a wonderful sandwich on rye bread made with lots of corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese and thousand island dressing. Num!!
