Good Fences-U of MN President's House

The University of Minnesota's Presidents always reside in this house on Mississippi Boulevard, with a beautiful view of the river.

Linking to Good Fences

Yesterday's Wordless Wednesday is an overpass at the entrance of a tunnel in Duluth, MN.  Interesting that some bloggers considered it an Egyptian motif.  The symbols are of Viking ships.

  1. I wouldn't want the responsibilities of the president of the U of M, but he does get to live in a nice house! Did you see where the prez of the Univ. of Kansas gave up $90K of his salary to raise the minimum wage of his employees? It will be a permanent raise. Pretty cool.

  2. My boss tried to do that once but his bosses wouldn't let him. Maybe they felt they might have to do the same!

  5. It is a typical American wooden residence, the fence suits very well with it.

  9. That's funny about the symbols, they certainly don't know Minnesota is all about the Vikings in so many ways! Lovely photos.

  22. It is quite a handsome house. I like the center entrance colonial style of home. My current West Hartford home and a previous one in Massachusetts were both this style.
