Yesterday's Wordless Wednesday is an overpass at the entrance of a tunnel in Duluth, MN. Interesting that some bloggers considered it an Egyptian motif. The symbols are of Viking ships.
I wouldn't want the responsibilities of the president of the U of M, but he does get to live in a nice house! Did you see where the prez of the Univ. of Kansas gave up $90K of his salary to raise the minimum wage of his employees? It will be a permanent raise. Pretty cool.
Love the glimpses of the residence in the first shot Kate.. such a splendid fence. P.s. You have to admit those viking ships look a little like an Egyptian dhow :)
It is quite a handsome house. I like the center entrance colonial style of home. My current West Hartford home and a previous one in Massachusetts were both this style.

ReplyDeleteIt is a typical American wooden residence, the fence suits very well with it.

That's funny about the symbols, they certainly don't know Minnesota is all about the Vikings in so many ways! Lovely photos.
