Rather than have the shop give this piece of furniture a new look, would you rather do it yourself? It just might be i
an interesting winter project.
an interesting winter project.

VISUAL SAINT PAUL
Nah. I play golf in the winter so I'd rather buy a table already painted. Or varnished. And that's the unvarnished truth! :)
ReplyDeleteI had to think for a minute....then I visualized what it would look like. I had better go play golf with Lowell.
ReplyDeleteYa, sure. Pile it on my 'ta do list'. What the heck winters are long here anyway.
ReplyDeleteThey do say that one is better selling distressed furniture than spending the time and expense of doing it up yourself.
ReplyDeleteeffective advertising technique. :)
ReplyDeleteToo many projects now. Would have to pass taking on another.
ReplyDeleteNice to see some photos of my old home town ....:)
ReplyDeleteMy talents in refinishing furniture are sadly lacking. I'll have to head to the golf course too, to take pictures of course. My golfing skills are also sadly lacking.
ReplyDeleteI bet it would be fun. If I did it, it may not look nice though.
ReplyDeleteAfter my latest "Do it Yourself" project, I don't think I want to see another paint brush for a long time.
ReplyDeleteMy golf skills are also lacking...but I can wield a mighty fine paint brush...although...hiring a refinisher might be the ticket to perfection if the bones of the table are really good!!!
ReplyDeleteNice marketing ploy. I would have fallen for it.
ReplyDeleteNice business tack-ties...
ReplyDeleteSome do-it-yourself projects appeal, but ones with smelly stripper solutions, varnish, and sandpaper don't cause my heart to go pitter-pat. Paper crafting? I'm in!
