That's life in the northlands. But one thing I know you have learned over the years is that although the trees go dormant and lose their leaves, they appease your yearnings by growing new ones in a few months!
It is sort of sad to see a tree lose all it's leaves for the winter. We are lucky here in Arizona. The few trees that lose their leaves are only bare for 7 to 10 days before the buds start popping out.

ReplyDeleteActually, I like the look of tree limbs when they are bare, but I know most people don't agree with me. ;)) I look at it as part of Nature's renewal.
