  2. Congratulations! I've always liked international women! :)

Sorry, I'm just kidding. And this is probably more important than at anytime in recent history with so many political numbskulls trying to turn back the clock on women's rights. It always amazes me to note that often the people who yammer most about "freedom" expend so much effort to take it away!

  3. I'm reading a book right now about a truly incredible woman, Isabella Greenway. Back on September 24th, I posted some comments about her along with pictures of the famous Arizona Inn she founded in Tucson back in 1930. While I was staying there, I purchased a book about here life called "Isabella Greenway; and Enterprising Woman". I just started reading it and wow, what an amazing woman.

  4. i wonder why it is not touted much here in the states. perhaps because we take our freedoms for granted (by comparison to so much oppression elsewhere).

  5. Nice to have a day. Snot that I am, I'd much rather have an equal rights amendment.

  7. Good to see that one of the blogs I follow has noted international women's day. We've come a long way but there's much more to do.
