A bedecked lantern
Lights the Way Every Season
Holiday Greeting
Many creative people reside on the "street where I live," including my next door neighbor who decorates her front yard with some delightful seasonal images. I love this light she often hangs on a tree with candles to illuminate the lantern. I just might use this for a holiday card!

ReplyDeleteYou street looks 'decked' for the season already.
ReplyDeleteI envy you for your neighbors, mine are mostly of the watch-a-lot-of-tv-loud type!
ReplyDeletethis looks like an old fashioned christmas, my favorite :)
ReplyDeleteThat will put you in a holiday mood!
ReplyDeletegreat looking lantern i can only imagine how it looks lit at night with a candle, you should sneak out after dark to get that shot!
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful...
ReplyDeleteKate I think our husbands have been cut from the same cloth. Same reaction from Tom when I mention a condo or retirement community. I agree that it is time to simplify.
How beautiful that is - my street is here.
ReplyDeleteAnd you even have snow to add to the charm!
ReplyDeleteIs this a current picture with snow? I'd love to have some winter for a change. It's barely even jacket season here.
ReplyDeleteKathy, I must confess that this is a photo from last year (or maybe the year before when we were buried in snow), and i think that I will definitely use this photo for my cards.
DeleteThis is a gorgeous shot! And yes, it would make a wonderful holiday card. Go for it!
ReplyDeleteabsolutely beautiful and I think it would make a lovely card.
ReplyDeletePretty! A simple, yet effective way to show you're celebrating the season. :)
ReplyDeleteA great photo for the festive season and for theme day.
ReplyDeleteGreat image! Perfect for a Christmas card!
ReplyDeleteNice choice for theme day, Kate. Your neighbor has a festive lantern.
ReplyDeleteHey there Kate, I hope winter is treating you well so far. Great photo! We only got a touch of snow early Nov, and nothing since. The weather is kinda strange lately. Yes, I was happy to finally meet Randy! The clay sale went alright fro my first sale... but woosh... 11 hour days at my table, so I was exhausted. Now working all weekend & trying to get some things boxed up for shipping home for Christmas. Looking forward to a day of rest sometime in the not too distant future!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful photo. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteA great image for theme and a beaut for the Christmas card!
ReplyDeleteDo you have that much snow right now. We have nothing, it's so strange.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, great looking lantern, so nice decorated too.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely postcard worthy
Your neighbour has impeccable taste Kate, lovely image for the theme.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous holiday shot and wow -- you guys have a lot of snow up there. So far all we've seen down here has been mixed with rain, nothing really measurable yet.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, SNOW! And here is is summer in Australia!!! I guess a 'traditional' Xmas means something different downunder!
