ReplyDeleteAh ah! Great find, Kate!
ReplyDeleteInteresting Crucifix, excellent use of used materials.
ReplyDeleteFascinating! Can you tell us where this is located? I love it when artists turn taboo/sacrosanct subject on their head.
ReplyDeleteHappy Theme Day!
Janet
Bet you jumped for joy when you ran up on this interesting piece. I think it's great. Don't you just love all the creative thinkers out there?
ReplyDeleteThis is quite original! I wonder if it caused any stir? I don't know how well a robotic Jesus on a cross would go down here in the south.
ReplyDeleteExcellent choice for the theme day!
An original choice, and that is what makes it so interresting.
ReplyDeleteHave a good WE.
Metal with a message! Great post.
ReplyDeleteI like it very much. I've seen other sculptures made out of everyday metal objects, but none ever out of nuclear metals. This is a far better use the metal and a great theme day post. Have a great theme day and weekend.
ReplyDeleteI know this isn't what I should say but he looks cute! Original post for theme day :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow! That is an awesome interpretation of the crucifix.
ReplyDeleteFormer Mayor of NYC, Rudy Guiliani probably won't like that too much.
This one certainly lived up to your "visual" part of your blog title. It's an astounding image for the theme.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo & a most original post for theme day! Exceptional find.

ReplyDeleteInteresting but strange. Nicely captured.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's an interesting and very different photo. Perfect for the Theme 'Metal'.
ReplyDeleteBut strange too.
Why a crucifix and not something else made of nuclear metal? Does it say more than the eye sees?
Fantastic shot. What a perfect take on the theme. BOth original and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting piece of metal. Good pick for theme day.
