#15-The Santa Fe Opera
I bet you thought that I was going to show you scenes from one of the operas, or the stage or costumes. Nope! These charming gentlemen were one of the hundreds of people tailgating in the parking lot before the performance. No white tablecloths or candlabras, but the cheese and wine they offered me looked pretty darn good!

Hi Kate, yeah that is quite a nice spread of things to nibble on :)
ReplyDeleteI hope that everyone had a good time!
Looks like a delightful time was had by all. I don't think of tailgating and opera in the same sentence.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Kate. We are going to the opera next Saturday for the first time. I am really excited. Hope you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteHow funny, tailgating before the opera.
ReplyDeleteThat tailgating looks much more civilized than what I hear about before sports games. Looks like fun though.
ReplyDeleteYou didn't partake???

ReplyDeleteps Kate, with your Kate and Jim signature, you can't link back to your website. You get the "profile not available" window.
ReplyDeleteFaye (et al), I have some serious work to do for which I am unqualified because I am not tech savvy. I'm in the process of making a housesitting blog, changed some things on both blogs and now don't know how to fix them. Hope I eventually solve the problem! Stay tuned!
ReplyDeleteThat wine sure does look good.

ReplyDeleteI've never heard of tailgating for the opera! But what a great idea. These are the scenes that are so special to happen upon, especially when you have your camera. Great shot.
ReplyDeletewhat gentlemen!
ReplyDeleteI wish there was something for us to see at the opera when we were there a few years ago. I heard it is a beautiful venue.
