en France on ne parle que de cela, il y a plein de spécial sur les chaînes d'information. in France it speaks only of this, there are plenty of special channels of information.
What a fabulous montage, Kate. I stayed up and watched the speech - 4.15 a.m. my time. Fabulous speech, some guy. History in the making and personally I sure hope he gets elected. Change! The world needs it.
Virginia, I just took pictures of the televised speech, downloaded about 30 photos, most of which were pretty terrible, selected the ones I wanted and used Picasa to make the collage.
Excellent collage, Kate. You've chosen some great images there. I caught it later in the day than Jilly but wow..if he's as good as his speech I hope he's elected.
Hi Kate! First of all many thanks for your comment on my post of 08.08.08 at 08h08 at Blogtrotter, now in Kos, Greece! It was great to read you there. Second, sorry for the long delay to come here, but August was a terribly busy month, as everybody else seems to be in vacation… Anyhow, I found sometime now to land here and enjoy your blog. As for the elections, it seems to be to close in the polls. Another four years would be unbearable, it seems... But what do you think of a lady for vice president? Wish you a great weekend!
When barrack was in Hawaii I thought about going down to Ke'ehi where he was going to give his speech but after hearing about the crowd and traffic and the security would not allow backpacks, I changed my mind - but boy, this is going to be one heck of an election!
I watch his mesmerizing speech. Nice poster!

ReplyDeleteJust listened to it (extracts) on the radio!
ReplyDeleteNow how did you do that???? Must know.
ReplyDeleteNow for the next step! We've been seeing a lot of this event. The whole convention hoopla is fascinating, and so foreign to anything we know here.

ReplyDeleteNice montage Kate! That was an inspiring speech last night - glad I opted for that over the (pitiful) footbal game.

ReplyDeleteAll I can say is, "AMEN!" and "Yes, WE CAN."
ReplyDeleteHuh! Bleeding heart liberal. Thought as much...
ReplyDelete(Joking....)
Excellent theme and collage. For the health of our world, we desperately need a change. A new vision of life, without fear and hate. Cheers.
