Kellogg Fountain

The top photo is easy to take of Kellogg Fountain and a favorite of photographers. It is pleasantly situated in downtown St. Paul in a small park near the corner of Wabasha Bridge and Kellogg Blvd, overlooking the wonderful Mississippi River. The small photo, however, is one that I previously posted several years ago, but I think that the comparison is worth a look. Wonder what caused all that foam?!

  2. I remember this fountain! I walked all around it one day. I probably even have a print photo of it somewhere in my boxes of photos. I love the comparison between what it truly looks like and what it looks like when someone has a bit of fun with it.

Oh the kids do that here at the fountain near the Welcome sign as you drive into Brookville. They dump a bottle of kitchen soap in the fountain and that makes the bubbles. The city has something they put in the water that kills the bubbles but they still have to change the water.

  7. when my husband was a child, he and a friend once poured a bottle of detergent in the towns fountain just so they could watch what happened. they achieved a similar effect!
It's funny that the officials are on to them nowadays.
