Wet Paint Art Supply store is a riot of color both inside and out. Thursday's blog on Paris Breakfasts mentioned moleskine notebooks. After I retired, I discovered computers big time (although I'm still a neophyte) and neglected my journals. While I was teaching I could never pass up a sale, bought journals, saved them, and then gave them as gifts to graduatiing seniors. Now I still have drawers full of unused, brand new journals. But, today I went shopping at Wet Paint; I probably should have at least ONE moleskine notebook. There's a pretty good selection from which to choose!

Oooooooooooooooooo Kate...an artsy fartsy art/stationery storefront...MY KINDA PLACE! LOL! And what a coinky-dink! My eldest son, who heads down to UC Santa Cruz in about 2 weeks, just received a "Moleskine" calendar journal thingy for a gift...they're VERY nice...a French/Italian product...preppy if I don't say so myself...don't let my guy hear that word tho...he'd hate to think he was "preppy" as he heads off to prepWORLD college! LOL! (=
ReplyDeleteSo colourful and so clever.
ReplyDeleteIt's my kind of place too. I can spend looong time in this place. Nice shot Kate.
ReplyDeleteMOLESKIN journals and notebooks!!!!! I love them!!!
ReplyDeleteI suddenly feel like buying one of those. They look very attractive and well displayed. I remember my student days...long time ago.
ReplyDeleteGraet place and shot. It brings back college memories, even smells of paper and school stuff.
ReplyDeleteKate thanks for stopping by =)
ReplyDeleteI'm not a journal person and I tend to keep all my stuff on my little computer.
Great post.
Ah, were I an artist, I'd like to have one to keep tucked under my arm. I'd pull it out whenever the muse whispered in my ear.
ReplyDeleteWet Paint ! I love that store! Despite living a couple of thousand of miles away, I still order some of my art supplies from them. They always have the best art supplies and eye candy.
ReplyDeleteOOOOOH! I LOVE moleskins! I carry my moleskin journal with me everywhere I go. I highly recommend them :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great store. I'd love to wander around inside and I'm sure I'd want to buy everything inside even though I'm not much of an artist.
