Golden Gopher??

A Golden Gopher is the mascot of the University of Minnesota. I went hunting for one to shoot, but they are very elusive. Instead I found this chipmunk, which will have to do. A small cousin, perhaps?

    I love little woodland creatures. Probably from all the Disney stuff I watched as a kid. Did this one talk?

    Little chipmunks give me so much pleasure when they sit and eat, run and hide, scurry through my back yard. They give my little dog a lot of pleasure too (he's never caught one but he does like to trail their scent).

    I think if he wasn't snacking on that little tasty morsel that he'd be smiling at you and saying "cheese". The little ham.. =o)
