Friday will be my 100th post on this blog! Whew!!And, I'll soon get a new camera for my birthday. Can't wait.
I'm not sure whether or not this woman was flattered when I asked her if I might take her photo for my Mn. Workers Series. She was repairing a light outside Lunds supermarket on the side of the building.

Ohhh a new camera coming. Pre-Grats!
ReplyDeleteThis woman didn't look too upset with you for taking her photo. This is an interesting series.
Wow Kate, I know I should say congratulation tomorrow for your 100th photos but I just can't wait! Congratulation!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate, You asked if Sid McMath was a good guy. He was a very good guy, very progressive, a fighter for social justice. Funny, we've named streets for Clinton, his library is here, there's a school named after him but I don't think there's a statue of him yet. Someday, surely . . .
ReplyDeleteI like your series of working Minnesotans. It's always interesting to see the faces and body types from a particular area.
Wow 100 posts! Congrats! Also...happy soon to be B-day! :)

ReplyDeleteCongratulations. On your 100th post. And new camera!
ReplyDeleteActually, I don't have the camera yet, but I'll be getting it on my birthday, which is not a good day because it is Sept 11 with lots of terrible images from 2001. I'll tell all when I get it. It won't be fancy-pansy, but it will be fancy-dandy for me!!
ReplyDeletethanks for leading me to your delightful blog, your eye for everyday detail is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea you've had, for a "worker series" of photos! Very creative. When is your birthday?
