Some people just cannot let go of the holiday spirit. I noticed this bright arrangement on one of my walks and thought about the difficulty of taking down and putting way decoratons. This homeowner must be one of those who like to hang on!
The most exuberant way to hang on to the festive season I have ever seen! I simply love that tree, an original way to brighten dreary January days! Thank you for sharing it! Cheers, Merisi
That would have been an unexpected surprise at the end of January :) Kate the size that the painting Wendy did for me was A3 which is about 420mm x 285mm but if you contact her through the link I'm sure she can do whatever size you'd like.. Would love to see it if you go ahead.
We have a rule about that at our house: up on December 15, down on January 1st.
ReplyDeleteLots of decorations are still up around my neighbourhood! Maybe your neighbour is a Canadian. ;))
ReplyDeleteWhat is that white stuff on the ground? It should be gone by Jan 1st too. Maybe the decorations are an early start to Valentines Day.
ReplyDeleteThere is always one of those in the neighborhood. Wonder if the word procrastinating was in their New Years resolution!?
ReplyDeleteThis one is kinda pretty and colorful...I'd be tempted to leave it up too!
ReplyDeleteI love those decorations!
ReplyDeleteit's too cute! hope he's gonna save that tree!

It certainly is quite colourful!
ReplyDeleteIt's better to keep the spirit of Christmas in your heart and not your doorstep. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'd call this a 'marley bush'... christmas past and passed.
ReplyDeleteBut, doesn't it look nice? I think so.
ReplyDeleteVery cheerful.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like they're waiting for enough of a thaw that they can dig a whole and plant it. In the meantime, it's cute.
ReplyDeleteIt is time to say goodbye....
