Southwest Skies

Lately we have been having skies in St. Paul that I label Southwest skies, heavenly blue with white puffy clouds.  I couldn't be happier since they remind me of New Mexico, which I miss.

  4. I've been missing the Southwestern skies too. It's so hot here our skies are just white! I need some blues skies with white clouds like yours today.

  5. Lovely skies. Nothing like a nice Minnesota summer day! I've heard it's been rather warm there the past few days. Lois' sister lives in Woodbury and I think it was 91 there the other day and only 88 here! :-)

Sorry, Kate, I don't know the name of the artist of the painting. I think it's one of those they sell by the ton. But I thought it had a lot going for it.

  10. I forgot to answer your question about hair. The couple in the photo has a lot more hair than either of us but as for a better do.....that depends on the eye of the beholder I guess.

  17. Beautiful! I haven't seen a day quite like this one for a while. Ours can best be described as "pearly" these days - classic Pacific Northwest.
