This photo was taken from the rear of Como Park Pavilion, which overlooks the lake. It's a terrific spot for walking, reflecting, visiting with friends and just relaxing.
Perhaps they named the park and lake after Lake Como, Italy, one of our favorite places.
I added to my post for tomorrow some information about lobsters in our area in response to your question about the name for Langosta beach. THank you, as always, for your comments
Como Park was always a nice place to visit, although living on the other side of Mpls we didn't visit often. My sister-in-law and her clan does, though. They love it!

Neat view through the fence. Are those roses? Whatever, they sure are pretty.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. What are the flowering trees? They look much like the crape myrtles we have here and throughout the South.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very nice photograph. Lots of little frames with their different views.
ReplyDeleteSuch a peaceful photo. I like how you have us peering through the railing.

ReplyDeleteIt certainly does look like a relaxing spot. How funny is it Kate that today is your longest day and here in Oz it's our shortest..
ReplyDeleteI have been there, many moons ago!
ReplyDeleteNice blooms on the trees.
ReplyDeleteI love that railing and the beautiful building! Do you walk around the lake often?
