That would be a difficult painting to replicate in a plant or flower arrangement.
ReplyDeleteThe florist did an admirable job of replicating the portrait, especially the colors.
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers that are only open on the ends and budded going toward the center. Bet that wasn't the easiest subject to photograph but you got a wonderful angle on it.
ReplyDeleteso really cool!!!
ReplyDeleteOh I think we had Art in Bloom at our museum once. When I first looked at the flower arrangement I was puzzled.......until I saw the art. That was a challenge!

ReplyDeleteGreat job!
ReplyDeleteI love that car from yesterday!

These are some of the best interpretations I've seen Kate, this one couldn't have been that easy but they did a brilliant job.
ReplyDeleteHow creative - not only the artist but the flower artist as well !
ReplyDeleteI wish that I could do such as this!

And what a great job they did!
ReplyDeleteI found that to be a brilliant representation of the painting, and a most interesting post. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteNice shot! I think I like the floral better than the original art.

I love the idea of replicating a picture in a flower arrangement! Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteThis is fun. The florists in your area try to come closer to mimicking the artworks than the florists around here.
ReplyDeleteLet's try again. Blogger didn't like my last try.
ReplyDeleteThe florists in your area seem to work more to mimic the artwork than the florists around here.
The painting (Kandinsky?) is a lot wilder than nature, at least in this incidence. The flower arranger should spike the next watering with some hallucinogens.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful "Tangle"...I use to hate getting the tangles out of my daughter's hair.
ReplyDeleteVery creative and colorful.
ReplyDeleteI took a very closeup photo of that painting once but couldn't quite get it to look quite right. I thought the flower arrangement captured the essence of the painting pretty well.
