Because she is terrified of cameras, our sweet Grand-dog Lexie scurries away whenever we try to take her photo. We have to be quick on the shutter button to record her image. Lexie is a rescue dog who was found on the dump at Rosebud Reservation. Before she was one-year-old she had puppies, both of whom died. Fortunately for us, Lexie was taken by a kind soul to a rescue site where her health was checked and maintained. Our son saw her photo on the internet, and the rest is history. She spends lots of time at our house, keeping our own Maggi young and on the run.

Yes, she looks downright apprehensive. Sad to see this whether in man or beast.
ReplyDeleteShe has such a sweet face. My uncle's dog Ginger, a little doxie, is the same way. I don't try to take her photo. It didn't take long to learn that she has a real phobia about it. And I sure wouldn't want someone putting a lizard on my arm after I'd asked them nicely not to do so!
ReplyDeleteShe looks lovely. I'm pleased your family rescued her. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteShe is so, so pretty! We found Jake on the internet also - rescue dogs are so wonderful and loyal!

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet face.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet. One of our dogs is a rescue. He is the most loyal and loving dog we have. I've spent some time volunteering at our local shelters, and I can say a lot of dogs come in traumatized and scarred for life. It is so sad.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwww, I love happy endings to a sad story. Lexie is beautiful!!!!
