Would you like to live in this house with the fantastic landscaping



Or this one with the windows and the amazing light?

    Holy smokes, I would not know what to do w/ such extravagance! I'd settle for a simple home in the country where I didn't have to share walls!

    Crikey. With the top one, you'd spend all your time topiarising and with the bottom one, cleaning windows.....

    I think the answer might depend upon what the view would be outside all those windows. It must be good for the house to be designed in that way, even with a rooftop terrace.

    Love the gardens, reminds me of a Japanese garden at the Arboretum. Too much glass to try and keep clean, wow!

    Definitely not the one with the trimmed garden Kate, I have one huge hedge in my garden and it drives me crazy keeping it trimmed.

    depends on where the houses are located...lotsa windows in MN in winter is not always a good idea. Great shots, tho.

    As between these two, probably the top one. The landscape might be a bit too much to handle, but I like older buildings. My house in CT is from 1925. Contemporary houses seem kind of sterile to me.

    I'm sure they are both lovely homes...I'd select #2, though, for all the glass and light. Plus, we had tons of landscaping to keep up at our old house in Ocala - way too much work and expense!

    I love modern and light, but I love the landscaping, would have to be the first one, especially if it came with a gardener. Ha.
