Camera Critters- Hitching a Ride

The horse drawn wagons have been very popular at the Farmers' Market this past summer.  Interesting that most of the riders are adults, rather than children!

Added later: Originally I had posted these photos on October 1, forgetting  about Theme Day, but I soon switched the post to today.  Sorry if you already saw this last week when it was briefly posted.  But the horses certainly are worth viewing again...beautiful animals!

    What a beautiful pair Kate, horses always seem to have the gentlest faces! Maybe they go at just the right pace for 'oldies'...me included haha! Hope you're having a good weekend.

    The bit about adults being the ones who mostly enjoy a hayride - funny, but understandable. We did a lot of hayrides as a kid (real ones, with hay, on a farm!) and those are good memories. Beautiful equines. Probably from Ocala!

    I missed this before and am glad you posted it again. Julie and I have enjoyed a few carriage rides in places like New York, New Orleans, Salzburg, Mumbai, but I never did it as a child. Maybe it was too genteel, or maybe it was a matter of frugality.

    If you go to Jilly's Menton (France) Daily Photo today you will see an example of what I mentioned in my comment a while back about photos of shoes. Her Monte Carlo Daily Photo today is somewhat similar as well.
