Park Tower Condos

This building located on 59 W. 4th Street was built in 1983 and is next door to The Hotel St. Paul, across from Rice Park. The location is superb for those who wish to live in downtown St. Paul. I would move in a minute but DH is opposed. I'm itching to get inside it since the only website I could find regarding it stated that "condos in this building rarely become available." I'll have to call the company listed as the agency to ask for a tour. Stay tuned and I'll let you know what I discover!!

  1. great shot, great angles on the buildings. I cannot recall these for some odd reason. Could be the angle of them.

Thanks for your information on my site. I took that photo LAST summer, but didn't care to much for how it turned out, strange colors, bland detail, but until yesterday, I never noticed the 'Lofts' sign.

  4. And you can probably see all of the 10,000 lakes from the top.
Kate, would you be kind enough to tell me where I can look to see the subject for the coming Theme Day. You alerted me when you left a nice comment on my blog earlier. Thanks.

  5. Hmmmpf, not absolutely convinced I would want to live there. No balcony, no outdoor space? Not for me then. But I'm always curious to see more, so getting a peak inside would be a treat. What sort of a view is there from there would be my first question.

  6. What a great photograph - somehow it almost gives an Art Deco feeling - probably those edges of the building - the ends.

Only a few balconies tho. I think I'd want a terrace or balcony if I lived in an apartment. Perhaps we are spoiled down here and of course the weather is different.

Kate, I hope you get it if you want it!

    Superb photo.

What is the significance of the "bump-outs" Kate? I like the looks of the building.

  8. that is a great idea. Pose as a buyer and take pictures of the inside.
Also, intersting angle of the shot. Have a good Sunday.

  9. I'm a real open house afficianado - love peeking into others' lives (no nefarious reasons I hasten to add). That would be fun to get in there! I'm with Nat though - I'd want a terrace of some kind, however small.

  10. oooh, I think they DO havce terraces - just very subtle and shaded. If they are they might be nice big outdoor spaces.

  12. I'll stay tuned for photos... yes, a south facing balcony appropriate for heavy planters would be a non-negotiable item for me.

  13. There is a condo boom in Madison, but I think half of them are empty. There aren't that many people with that much money here!

Today is Madison Daily Photo's 100th post - thank you for all your past visits & comments!

  14. Great photo - love the composition.

The trouble is I could never live in an apartment - I would never get my stuff in. The "joys" of expat life - I have a house full of stuff here and 2 containers full of stuff in storage back in Australia.

  15. Nice shot of the angles and squares of the windows. I'll bet the wonderful views call for big prices.

There are 2 towers of similar construction going up here in Providence.

  17. So, if you moved in, would you rather look for the top floor? I guess the view is a major item? Sorry, but I don't know what the condo means?

  18. Am sure staying right at the top few floors, the view will be great!

Do you happen to know, what's that green thingy on one of the floors?

  19. That's a neat looking building. It's interesting looking without being weird.

Good luck on getting the inside views.
