Vigilant He Stands

In another part of the Conservatory, you can meet St. Francis who oversees many of the plants, fountains and koi. Although he seems a bit worse for wear,  he remains vigilant.

  4. He might be a little rough around the edges but he can still pass on his blessings.

  5. St. Francis must also be hidden, I don't recall bumping into him.

  8. He has a very sensitive and realistic face. The sculptor took care and didn't just dash this statue off.

  9. He looks stunned! "Hey, someone took my finger and part of my thumbs! Come back!"

We had a St. Francis in our garden for years. I think we gave him to our daughter. Hmmm...

  10. One of my favorites but he was just here the other day. He probably wanted more snow.
