    Very quite here too, can't say that for my neighbors. Bonfires, music and fireworks well into the early morning hours.

    We had a fine New Year's Eve party but the hosts forgot to serve Champagne at midnight - c'est la vie!

    Yes, we did. I had red wine, but started working early on the first day in the new year, so I stopped drinking quite some time before the new year began.
