VISUAL SAINT PAUL
The advantage of a car in this condition is that you could not get nailed for a photo radar ticket because the license plate is covered by snow, unless the snow blows off from driving too fast. Of course, you wold have to be crazy to drive fast on snow and ice covered streets.
ReplyDeleteI left an answer to your question on my blog. The reason that the oxen had the wrappings tied around their horns is that there was no yoke collar around their neck and shoulders. Tongue to pull the trailer was attached to the yoke and oxen only at the horns of the oxen.
belle carte de voeux pour 2011, mais un peu lourde a envoyer ;o)
ReplyDeleteA+ for neat handwriting
ReplyDeleteI like to be a pessimist: my life is full of nice surprises!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I wonder what the Southwest version of this would be. We haven't had any snow at all this winter (so far), so I guess we could write 2011 in some dust. I truly hope we get some moisture soon.
ReplyDeleteStay warm!
That looks like Terrell, we ended up having a blizzard......3 inches.
ReplyDeletePerfect January in Minnesota photo! The snow even masked the license plate number for confidentiality! Just don't try to use this photo again in 2012, Great Kate!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate - love the picture. Happy New Year to you and yours. Thanks for swinging by my blog. I look forward to stopping by here often.
ReplyDeleteNicely done!
ReplyDeleteI think that the wonderful thing about your climate is that you could almost have a new message every week through the winter... I agree with JB... nice handwriting!
ReplyDeleteBises,
G
I love it, quote and all.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! We barely got any ice at all, yet everything is closed today.
ReplyDeleteA Minnesota icon! Great shot, Kate. Re your quote from Bill Vaughn: I went to bed before midnight. What does that make me. Neither fish nor fowl?
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great day!
Love your banner photo!
A perfect way to say it!
ReplyDeleteI would like my car looks like yours. Meanwhile we have 0C, snow melted and my car reminds me big covered in grey dirt friend. We have clayey soil here, thus tons of mud on the roads when wet(
ReplyDeleteWow, quite a build up of snow.
ReplyDeleteSomeone tall must have written this. :)
ReplyDeleteA very nice photo, that is great. Happy new year to you. I wish you the best for this year.
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Kate... and cold! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat penmanship. :)
ReplyDeleteLove this, Kate. Let's hope it is a happy one for you and one with a shoulder that works properly.
