Sighted this latest casualty resting on the boulevard on the corner of Summit and Fairview Avenues. No-one was around but it's safe to assume that the driver lost control, even though the conditions were not too bad the day I snapped this. Not a laughing matter for the driver, but I couldn't help but be amused by the license plate and the make of the car.

j'espere que le conducteur n'a pas besoin de sa voiture ;)
ReplyDeleteOK, I'm naughty too because I think - considering the situation - the license plate is funny too.
ReplyDeleteHee-hee ... well, really not too amusing. However, your opportunistic play on words is great!
ReplyDeleteDuring the summer we have a weekly sailboat race on Lake Union, Tuesday evenings, called the Duck Dodge Race -:)
"I got some baddddd news" - that's what I would have said! Maybe I'm more careful with my new Swedish car....
ReplyDeletebon weekend
I'm sure the driver/owner was not happy at all but, you've amused your readers very much. Wonderful play on words to give us a chuckle.
ReplyDeleteThey probably didn't have winter tires. It's hard to drive on even a little ice and snow with summer tires.
ReplyDeleteAt least no one was hurt.
Opps! I've seen a lot of spinouts this week. Good job on getting the shot before the car was removed.
ReplyDeleteGood name for this one, Kate!
ReplyDeleteWell, it looks like a fair amount of dented metal, but I doubt the poor driver got hurt very much.
ReplyDeleteAnd I though all the "duks" went south for the winter!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your commenting problem. I don't know of anything wrong on this end, but computers do strange things, for sure. And I've not had anyone else mention their computers shutting down...
Maybe it was a temporary glitch - too much electricity in the air or something...
Have a great weekend and thanks for not giving up!
