Bread and Chocolate's Seasonal Bouquet

Bread and Chocolate routinely places a bouquet that is a reflection of the season in a small niche above a fireplace in their cafe that sells delicious, mouth-watering pastries.  Yesterday I participated in a meeting there and was pleased to see the latest floral addition.  A retired art teacher friend offered to teach a water-colour class to a few of us who are interested so we gathered at at B&C to plan our new adventure.  Today I am going to visit Wet Paint, a terrific art supply shop, to buy some supplies. If all goes as planned, I may have a few photos in the future to post of our group at work!

  5. Those tulips look like they are trying to escape from that niche, but they have great shadows.

  8. So pretty! If I was there I'd love to take a lesson or two. I've tried several times to paint for my Art Challenge Club but when my paintings are done, I think they look awful. I always revert back to photography. I'd love to learn to paint.

  11. Hi once more, Kate. This is in response to your comments on "Giacomo." No, you don't need that kind of license plate. People bring them here from their home state and attach them to their golf carts. I think if they love their home state so much they ought move back there! And waving flags is not, in my opinion, patriotic at all. The worst scoundrels in the world wave the flag furiously pretending patriotism. Well, that's my opinion. Always appreciate your comments. Oh, you do have to have your golf cart registered in order to drive it in the community. As for the color, every Shea (Trilogy) community in the U.S. has their own color; ours happens to be charcoal gray. Actually, it's a nice color. And I really don't like all the crazy golf carts you see down in The Villages. Have a great day!
