I am missing the fall colors in Minnesota and enjoying your photos very much. I had to hit Michaels yesterday to buy some (quite realistic) fall leaves and berries to put on the mantelpiece. And I keep telling myself, I will be seeing green while Minnesota is seeing white to compensate. Happy fall!
Beautiful! We have maples here but they haven't started turning as yet. Our most colorful trees are sweet gum. We have one on the edge of one of our pastures that has leaves of yellow, gold, orange, red, purple and even black - all at the same time. I hope I'm here to see it this year!
It looks like one part has its roots in summer and the other in autumn (I know it's not in the roots...it's as close as I can get to having a "foot" in each season).
The change is starting slowly but it will get there.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like someone dyed the leaves to look that way. Chilly weather on target? It wonder why it would target Target? Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteLooks like just one half felt like turning.
ReplyDeleteRather like to orange with the green.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Pretty soon, they'll all be red.
ReplyDeleteThat's happening here too. By the time the other half goes red, the first half will be on the ground.
ReplyDeletepretty with more to come!
ReplyDeleteI might call it harlequin.
ReplyDeleteI am seeing more trees like that than usual. Why do you think that is happening?
ReplyDeleteCame here from biebkriebels...The colors in North Idaho been out standing....If you have time stop in for some coffee
