Patti is the tye-dye artist I met at the St. Paul Highland Art Fair, who is making the tye-dye skirt that I'll take to Cuba. Helping her in the booth is her husband. Oh, to be so talented!
I would not expect tie-dye artists to be wearing Brooks Brothers.
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip to Cuba. Julie and I often take school supplies on trips to developing countries.
Impressive beard.
ReplyDeleteMy brain is a bit wacky this a.m. but my first thought was maybe he should tie-dye his bear. My second thought was no, probably not!
ReplyDeleteIt seems advisable to be careful that you don't get all tied up and dye when you go to Cuba. You can get tie-dyed, though, and be one of the most colorful characters on the island!
ReplyDeleteRe your question on Cedar Key: The carriage is operable. As I recall, it was used in a parade. They have parades on CK occasionally.
I guess he is careful not to dip his bread when he is making those clothes!
ReplyDeleteYes! The Sixties LIVE!
ReplyDeleteShe has some beautiful pieces in her collection.
ReplyDeleteGosh I remember wearing tie dye ages ago Kate, was a bit of a '60's' thing wasn't it!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these faces and their bright work! I think getting a skirt - and leaving it for someone there - is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI like his hat/cap.
ReplyDeleteCuba! That sounds like an exciting trip. Has the US lifted the travel ban now? I might head there myself. :)
