My understanding is that the Packers are owned by the City. How do all of the politicians and pundits who scream about "socialism" explain the Packers' success?
My kids are visiting from Chicago....they are UW grads...have a dog named Packer and season tickets. Guess we are flying the green and gold colors here!
Packers have always been a sentimental favorite for me, they were on top when I first started watching football as a kid.
But Fran Tarkenton was one of my main childhood heroes and the Vikes were my team growing up. I was considered weird as a Vikings fan in Louisiana. I was even the proud owner of a Gary Quazzo football card when I was a young'n. Few remember him now. Good times.
No prediction. I don't know either teams situation these days.
Sigh. No.

ReplyDeleteEveryone I know has bought stock in the team; that's how they are so successful!
Deleteenfin le retour de la NFL, cela doit etre de la folie pour les Packers
ReplyDeleteEveryone who gets to see that lovely photo wins!

Patriots!
ReplyDeleteWrong team, Birdman.
DeletePackers!
ReplyDeleteRight on, Jim!
DeleteNeatly landscaped, but conservative.
ReplyDeleteI guess you're hoping the Vikings will be victorious. :)
ReplyDeleteWrong! I grew up in Green Bay, my husband in St. Paul. We're a divided household; my blood still runs green and gold!
DeleteI would be the wrong person to ask.
ReplyDeleteI figured you were gonna support the Packers! :-)
ReplyDelete"Titletown" is pretty funny. Isn't there something else Green Bay for which Green Bay is famous?
A strange name indeed for a town!
ReplyDeleteDitto what sister Sharon said.
ReplyDeleteAs my sports-resistant husband might say, "Uh, are these football teams?" ;-)

ReplyDeleteYou never know it could be the Vikings.
ReplyDeleteBirdman has it. Patriots.
