When I think about what people in the south had to go through to get to vote I can't imagine taking voting for granted. But I feel poorly informed where we live now. I haven't been here long enough to feel I know the candidates. I suppose I'd feel better motivated if I felt like they'd make a difference. . .
You're right: Voting is both a privilege and a right. Too bad some of our state legislatures are working hard to take away that right and that privilege from whole blocks of voters!

ReplyDeleteI'm ready! I don't think all the signs will make a difference in how people vote and I will be glad when they get picked up. It's an eyesore.
