I think you drove through Ocala without telling me! Oh, that's right, you have horses in Minnesota, too! :-) Horses do make friends with other horses. Even other animals. And they get very agitated if they're separated! This must be love!
Being herd animals, horses are happiest when they have a friend. I know some folks who had only one horse and got a goat to keep it company. Such a sweet picture!
