The old Corvettes and Thunderbirds are classics. If you have a car like this, it must be a dilemma to decide when to drive it. One would want to enjoy it, but also keep miles off it. Is suspect it becomes a special occasion car.
Hard to fit little kids in the back. Seems I remember riding in one of these Stingrays! The Beach Boys started playing in my head when I pulled this up!
Fabulous first shot with the tree reflections on the 'shiniest car I've ever seen'!! Another red beauty Kate and yes, two doors become a bit of a pain when you're trying to buckle a little one into a car seat.
Darn kids! The mess up all your fun! When in graduate school I worked nights at an oil company run by a father and son both of whom owned 1963 Corvettes. One of my jobs was to keep them clean and polished! Wonder what happened to them. The cars. Not the father and son.
Children do have a way of applying some brakes to our youthful frivolity!
ReplyDeleteWow, so red and shiny! It looks like it's going fast just standing still.
ReplyDeleteCandy apple red too, love it!

ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous! I had a little red convertible once. Then I got pregnant with my daughter and had to trade it in because it only had two seats.
