Aren't these pretty, Kate? I remember being in Boston in the 1970s when the first of the Tall Ships parades took place, right after New York and Newport. They are so impressive!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. The Pride of Baltimore must be really lost, to make its way from the Chesapeake Bay all the way through the St. Lawrence and through each of the great lakes to Lake Superior. What could be next? To sail all the way up the Mississippi to St. Paul?

Lake Superior is huge, but I would never see this as a lake if I didn't know. It looks like an ocean shot taken here. Awesome, Kate!

ReplyDeleteHi Kate, I saw this early this morning on the portal and it looked outstanding. Such splendid ships and such a splendid photo of them. The stamps that started my stamp collection when I was 10, were of tall ships which made them very dear to me.
