A terrific slice-of-life in St. Paul! This is a bit different than recumbent bikes here...ours are much lower to the ground. This almost looks like a regular bike - modified. Always wanted to try a recumbent, though.
My Dad has a bike like that one - it looks so uncomfortable somehow - I guess I should just give it a try! Regards from Stevens Point and the Suzuki Violin Institute, Great Kate!
I think it would be so much easier to pedal this kind of bike because of the back rest, you could use some back muscle along with the legs. I don't think I've seen one quite like this one.
What an original cycle. I wonder at the safety of driving(cycling) leaning back like that. It does look comfortable though. Nice post Kate for the letter C.
Now that's the kind of bike I could ride with my bad back - it's screwed together with 7 screws and doesn't bend the way you need to on a regular bike!
velo original, mais on en voit de plus en plus, surtout pour les gens qui font des voyages en velo
ReplyDeleteI so want one of those bikes Kate, how cool would that be to cruise around the neighbourhood in!!
ReplyDeleteLooks a bit vulnerable to me.

Just a weird looking thing.
ReplyDeleteIt looks strange, but it would probably be more comfortable to have back support while pedaling.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it might be fun, but not for me!
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Kare. Would you believe I took a similar photo just a couple of days ago? But I didn't post it for C, :))
ReplyDeleteI've always wondered if these are really comfortable to ride. I can't imagine.

ReplyDeleteNow that's an interesting bike. It's something that you would never see at Wal-Mart.

So cool and I like the tiny rear-view miror attached to his helmet.

Chillaxing eh?
ReplyDeletePlease come and see my C, thanks a lot!
I really ought to look into a recumbant bike.

Riding in comfort! I've been thinking of ways to mount my camera onto my bicycle. Photography while biking would be interesting.
ReplyDeleteI see these around and I have read that they are better on your back, but, "No thank you."
ReplyDeleteGREAT shot! Have you ridden one? They don't seem to move very fast--or am I just talking myself out of trying one? :O)
ReplyDeleteHappy week!
