Rub-a-Dub-Dub

Yesterday morning it was too chilly to take pictures at the Farmers' Market so I loaded all my purchases (Maple syrup, eggs, lamb chops, apples, red and green peppers, tomatoes, and apple cider plain and sugared donuts) into the White Wizard and stopped at the car wash on my way home.

  1. I just got to ask: are they Crispy Creme donuts? Hmmmm!!

I love sitting in the car as it goes through the car wash. :-)

  2. I second Ming - this post brings me back to my childhood when I would accompany my Dad to the carwash - we would stay in the car and chit-chat while the whole thing would go wooooosh-pchhhhh pchhhhhh pchhhhhh. Love it!

  5. Kate, it's been so good to catch up on your recent posts - ones I missed cos I was away - and many thanks for your comments during that time.

Love the gushing water from the hydrants - and that beautiful fireplace. And a late happy birthday on such a sad day. Glad you could enjoy it with your family - as you should!

    Looks cold in today's photo!

Ha, I too thought this was snow at first. It's taken me a while to get back here -- haven't had much free time lately.

Thanks for your visit to my blog, too. Much appreciated.

  18. The White Wizard, eh? I like it. A name with lots of panache.

At first glance, my first thought was, "SNOW ALREADY!"

I'm glad for you that it wasn't.
